Regarding your very informative write up on Twitter and HIPAA, what do you think of this user's posts: http://twitter.com/doctorlinguist If I was one of his patients, I'm not too sure I'd be thrilled to have him write about me, or my case, even if it is anonymized. I guess the 'tone' of some of the posts reveals some of the "breakroom professional-to-professional" talk about patients that isn't appropriate to patients and even feels unprofessional. Basically, patients become unwitting participants in an online reality show narrative.
